Warrior Moms Brunch
The Warrior Mom Brunch is a signature initiative of Anoushka’s Helping Hand, created to honor and support mothers raising neurodivergent children. More than a social event, the brunch provides a supportive space for connection, shared experiences, and access to resources. It recognizes the resilience of mothers navigating complex emotional, mental, and physical challenges, while fostering a sense of community among women on similar journeys. Held annually on the first Sunday in May, the Warrior Mom Brunch serves as a moment of reflection, renewal, and celebration.
2025
The inaugural brunch was held on May 4, 2025, in Fairfield, Connecticut, under the theme, The Warrior Mom: Self Love — Empowered to Care, Encouraged to Pause. As part of this heartfelt gathering, a mom is honored with the Resilience Award for their advocacy and dedication to the special needs community. The first recipient of this meaningful recognition was Ms. Melody Lehrman.
